From a series of work exploring the pathways that twist and turn behind the homes and roads visible to all. This artwork is from a journey up to All Saints Church in Marple, Stockport. I wanted to capture the historic symbols along route and the feeling of repetition with the double arch. This painting looks wonderful next to sister painting “On Foot Anyday”.
